T. Bag turns Sally into a homeless street urchin and then decides to ruin everybody else's Christmas as well. But kindly Emily Scrumptious takes Sally in, giving her tenant Giles Pickens inspiration to write his Christmas story.

She sets off to find them, but is foiled by an archaeologist (Diggory) and his daughter Penny who scatter the sunstones as T-Bag is claiming the power of the sun.

Tabatha Bag takes over where her sister left off, enlisting T.Shirt as her T. Caddy and usurping Captain Cockle's lighthouse. Only the Pearls of Wisdom can defeat her, so it's another quest for Sally Simkins to find them all in time.
